We made an attempt to go to a few different food carts while we were in Portland and Sky Kitchen was by far the biggest yet most pleasant surprise! It was closer to closing time, but the couple of women who were running the food cart were super friendly and welcoming. They had a small menu, however it covered the popular curry & noodle dishes that I would have expected to find. We typically don't get Yellow Curry but we decided to order it with chicken along with the Drunken Noodles with chicken and a side of spring rolls. The woman who took our order gave us a small cup of mango juice to try out while we waited.
Although the food took a while to come out we knew it was because it was all made to order. The spring rolls came out first; they were super crunchy on the outside, had a yummy filling, and tasted great with the sweet/sour dipping sauce. The food came out shortly after and everything was piping hot. I was more leaning towards the Drunken Noodles when we had ordered, and my fiancé was more interested in the Yellow Curry, however after a couple of bites, we decided we liked what the other one had ordered better! Both dishes, however, were very tasty. I wouldn't hesitate to get either again. They had conveniently kept some hot sauce and other condiments at the window, and I'm sure if we would have needed anything, they would have been happy to get it for us.
The cost of both of the meals was very reasonable (actually pretty cheap) and we received a lot of food! Neither of us were able to finish either of the dishes. If you're in town and looking for Thai food, I'd definitely suggest checking out this food cart. It's worth a trip! -

#9 cashews with chicken of scrimp $7. Freshly made after you order. Can be a bit spicy. Tasty & a little sweet. Try it.

Jinda is the most genuinely friendly person and wants to make sure your dish is perfect and made exactly the way you want it. We had chicken fried rice and it was enough for me and my H. I always like a little more salt on my food but H says no way. Thanks J for making our late night out so fun!

Not sure how this place is surviving with all the fantastic food trucks and options nearby.
The pad see ew here is probably one of the most horrendous things I've eaten. The noodles were dry, rubbery, and lacked any kind of wok fire you come to expect from any respectable Thai restaurant. The flavor was rather generic.. Like soy sauce, sugar, and possibly some fish sauce.
Basil chicken was passable at best. There wasn't a strong flavor profile, but rather once again, a generic soy sauce and sugar sauce targeted at people who have no idea what Thai food should taste like. -

Friendly, cheap, large portions of tasty food. Provided us with cups of mango juice to walk around with while we waited.
